So, folks, I've been scratching my head over a question that might make you feel a bit "sea-sick". Just how many miles do those big bad oil rigs sit off shore? Well, the answer is as varied as the fish in the sea! Generally, they're about 10 to 200 miles out, but some daring ones park their metal bottoms as far out as 200 to 350 miles! That's further than my last disastrous road trip!
